yup, spot on earlyrolla!

easier to shave 18R head (while watching out for valve-clearance issues) or bolt a turbo on it and grind out the head to lower compression (like i did).

you could also deck the block but once the piston crown starts to show, you run into the same valve-clearance problem.

If you go (potentially expensive) non standard pistons, make sure addesss any issues about gudgeon pins and balance if the custom jobs are different in weight to the std jobs.

the turbo's also an expensive route as you have to make lost of custom stuff. The RG's a cheaper route and it also has opportunities for hi-comp or turbo.
