Hey,I agree,an rx7 will find it very hard to keep up with a blown aw11 when both are in stock form,but where the rotary has the advantage is in the modification potential area.
the most you'll get out of a GZE with the std blower is 100-110kw atw. the rotor can go a lot further,with less work.
the handling differences are open for debate.
my point wasn't to openly compare the two cars(I'd personally love to get my hands on either of them),it was to show the reason cars like these are sometimes hard to sell.
cheap,turbo cars are all over the market,and it makes it hard to justify the price of NA,and blown cars when you aren't after a specific model,just something that goes.
for this money,you're competing with silvias and 180s,as well as the rotaries. sprinters and mr2s find it hard against that kind of competition.
also,what is the big advantage the mr2 has over the sprinter?
the suspension up front is essentially the same,they weigh a similar amount,and run the same engine in JDM spec.
have you run one at a track? what sort of times did you get?
I'd be curious to compare the two. not from a "mine's better than yours" point of view,but just to see what's got more where,if you get my meaning.
