7M-Brisbane, That's the best supra info I’ve read so far!
I just bought my supra 87 (7MGTE) for $2500, had some front panel damage, came with a 3" exuast. But resonates, and is WAY TOO LOUD. What can I do to quite that exuast without hampering performance?
This supra has a Digital Dash. I’m curious, is the turbo gauge the same as a boost gauge? Or something different?
The engine has blown one or two headgaskets before I bought it, so I will have to re-torque it tighter like you said.
It's done 150,000kms, sounds pretty healthy except for a tappety sound, which could be a loose valve, I’m not sure.
Also what kind of oil would you recommend for an engine of this age?
The auto transmission can shake the whole car when going into reverse. Is that a bad sign?
