I applied the term bodgy because many people seem to think any paint work not carried out in pristine, dust free shops and applied in a spray booth to be just that(didn't want a posting bun-fight because I didn't tell you to stand on your right foot and spit over your left shoulder while spraying). I have sprayed abs plastic using this method for many years with no problems, 1 set of mirrors now into their 12th year and look schmick. I would strongly recommend you try doing it yourself, it is the only way to learn. Besides, you just can't beat the feeling after a successful job.
