Hey there. I'm doing exactly the same conversion as you! Wow, cool.
So far I've got an 5MGE MZ11 and a 1GGTE and A340E from a GZ20. I used to have a manual GZ10 Soarer and the engine I have now would have been a straight and easy swap. But alas now I've got to do a bit of gear swapping over. I'm a bit unsure about the engine mounts but I've been told they share the same X members with the GZ10s. I guess I'll find out. If your gonna go auto then get a 1G bellhousing for the box cos it won't fit. If you're going manual then the bracket for the master cylinder's already there.
So far I've bought the engine, car, w55 'box(no bellhousing), everything for the clutch. Things I'm concerned about are driveshaft lengths, engine X member and pedal box. A manual GZ10 would have all these parts right there already, so if you're lucky enough to find one I suggest you grab it.
As far as performance mods go, I've got a custom built twin Garrett T25 manifold made up for me. Should flow up to 500hp but I'm only after 350hp or thereabouts. I'm hoping for twin pipes once the Garretts are on. Probably gonna run about 12psi on them. I think for now I'll just crank the CT12s up to 11psi if they aren't already. I'll see how it goes.
