1) The 1GEU auto bellhousing should fit to the 5MGE auto in theory. Should hold up to the power as well, but its not the smoothest of things. Methinks you should switch to a manual when you can 
2) Providing you can get the wiring harness, it wouldn't be the hardest thing in the world to connect. It's fairly simple to remove the 5MGE wiring and it'd be a matter of tracing some of the wiring. I can help you out there because I guarantee it'll be similar to the Celica XX.
3) With the airconditioning you should be able to use the air-conditioning compressor from the 1GGTE (if its on there), you may have to get new piping made, but it can be made to work. The power steering should be able to be made to fit. You may have to move the resevoir, but its not the most complicated setup.
4) I know the 1GGTE doesn't use oil squirters, so its possible the block is the same as the turbo one.
