Sorry grega, seem to be following you here
Sandbasting would cost more then its worth to do a whole car, ir puts ripples in the metal, might not look like it but after you put a few shinny coats of fresh paint, you'll notice it in the sunlight, do the engine bay tho by that, as not to mant ppl will worry about the paint and more dazzeled by the donk in there
Yes, get a good twin filter resperator, CIGWELD or something like that, thats what we use at work anyway.
Again, i spose it comes down to personal choice here, but if you take all the safety messures 2pak is fine, you can get less harmless stuff, cant remember what the stuff is thats in it which they take out, just as long as you wear ya mask at all times you'll be fine, but hey, gotta die of something dont we?
also, yes, keep the bog dry, as it will stay moist and could rust under neath, also it will prolly crack when it drys i think, but i know its not good to get it wet while its still raw/bare, once you have primer/undercoat on it, its fine
Just use the old paint stripper, nd like grega said, just wash all the car again even if you think u have it all off, get a pressure washer and wash it all, then leave in the sun for a few hours and blow dry with the compressor
also, make sure you dont rub down to the metal with that 80grit sand paper, its a real c*nt when ya scratch all the metal and gotta refill it, just more work for ya really
anyways, enough from me, good luck
see ya
