yeah i had a look at one today that had its rings and bearings done. i could have got it for 700 cash but i probably would have only bought it for 450.
it ran fine but...
i suspect it had a blown head gasket (virtually certain).
the water pump rotor snapped and was replaced (wierd)
it was rough at idle (it was susposedly stock)
it ran a little hot
the radiator coolant was dirty
there was hardly any flow through the radiator
and there was either what seemed like a fuel problem or valve bounce at 6400rpm it would NOT rev past that.
am i being too critical
i was thinking 400 for a complete motor to be rebuilt or 1000-1200 for a recently fully rebuily one.
is this unrealistic?
