Yep, you have a post July 1976 4M (known as a 4MU). The MX13/23 was available till Sept 1976 here in Australia, so they had to fit a motor that would comply with ADR27a, hence the square rocker covered 4M. It's basically a Gen 3 4M. Corona Mk2's and Crown MS85's built from July 1976 have this motor.
The Gen1 4M had a 41030 head (with 9.2:1 CR, and slightly high topped pistons), gen 2 had 41032 head (with 'nipply' pistons -sounds XXX rated doesn't it - and 9.4:1 CR and more power). The Gen1 and 2 4Ms had a head that was bolted down by 14 large and 3 small head bolts, and the rocker assembly was bolted down to the head using 14 separate bolts. They also had a curved rocker cover. There are subtle port differences.
The Gen 3 4Ms (4MU and 4MEU - 4MEU not released in Australia) had flat top pistons, ultra low compression, and a square rocker cover. The head and rocker assembly are bolted together with the same 14 large head bolts (so to get the rocker assembly off, you have to undo the head bolts), and 4 smaller head bolts at the front. Again the ports slightly different. There was a significant power drop from the early to late motors.
