i thought i followed the other line pretty good, as i had half the bolt on stuff of the engine. it did go deep into the engine but seemed to surface somewhere near the throttle body, and when into it on the inlet side. as this would provide a pressure for the wastegate to function.
maybe i just followed the wrong lead? i'll look again before i cut anything. any ideas on an easy way to get to the lead?
