12psi is a good figure for me... you could probably stretch it further but you risk fuelling issues and detonation the higher you go so the risk for me isnt worth it

it should allow at least 10-12psi before hitting fuel cut so it sounds like the installation is wrong (boost controller facing the right way?) or the turbo vsv is interfering - plug that hose and see how you go - you mightn't need that fc defender

the car will boost at different levels in different gears - usually 1st will be lowest
fuel cut should stay constant
plug that hose first and check your installation then get back to us
