But they didn't just get rid of them, they wired them open! I think whoever did that should get the worldwide bodginess award. Has anyone seen anything better than that?
I guess the last bodge conversion article they did would come pretty close, especially that wonderful cable to hydraulic clutch mechanism. And the article about the guy who used an old honda civic radiator as an intercooler on his VL, and even used the radiator cap to limit boost with the caps 13psi valve. The good thing about that was, he could adjust the boost simply by swapping in a higher (or lower) pressure radiator cap!
