hey there , i wouldnt be putting a F/I 22RE in a hilux, mainly because they are a crap engine (with F/I). I used to own a 86 Corona with the fuel injected 22re and i had nothing but problems with the fuel injection. the car needed PULP to run half decently, otherwise it was conk out while driving. mechanics could never properly diagnose the the problem though, but they swayed towards a F/I issue. plus: i dragged a old hilux a few years back when i had the old girl, and it barely could pass the 22r. regards mysterious problem solver [Report message to a moderator]
