from past experiences i have heard that the 3t have oil pump problems

maybe by coincidence yr pump was abit on the bad side but never played up till u changed the oil n iflter
they have a relief valve inside the oil pump and that sometimes sticks due to wear

but like the other guy said put a manual gauge on it first
