Re-capping all previous comments that there is no such product to "block" the number-plate from a camera flash, then can anybody explain why most cars at the Autosalons have their number plates glared out when u take photos of it?

Hmmm, id say that the glare is caused by the flash  ... BUT, the flash from your camera is brighter as you are closer to the car... Try taking a picture of a car that is further away and on the same angle as a speed camera... You should now be able to see the no plate okay...
