The GTI was the last to have the standard 16v 4age. The one just before it was the SX. The SX went from 89-91, the GTI went from 91-3. They both had the small port 100kw engine.
The AE101 came with a 20v 4age and the 4agze. They were built from 92-96. The 4agze came with a decompressed 4age to make way for the supercharger.
