I was at the machine shop yesterday and asked were there any pistons from a different motor that would fit the 7M boosting it's compression. They only turned one page in the ACL catalog and found "5MGE". They reckoned the compression height was no problem, but I was a bit unsure. Hence the post.
I might give Toyota a call tomorrow with the part numbers off that site and see what they say.
Jumping in a boat with a parachute doesn't worry me. I once drove a pickle fork drag hydro with no helmet, no kill switch (probably no brains upon reflection). Kinda eerie at 100mph, with the engine noise fading away to nothing and not being able to see much of the boat. Just a whole lotta water and the wind.
The guys I reckon are freakin nuts are the jetsprint guys. Something isn't quite right about a boat with a roll cage.
