Thu, 17 July 2003 04:48 most toyota petrol engines run at around 82deg, my 1G thermoswitch is on90 off85 range. its best to try and find out what temp the engine runs at (i think thermostat info might be a good source) and then choose a thermoswitch temp range to suite. rule of thumb is usually 'off' a coupla degrees higher than engine operating temp, and 'on' not being over 10 degrees more than operating temp ohh and be sure not to get a thermo swith that has a 'off' temp lower than engine operating temp as the fans will never turn off... damn peps getting me wrong stinking switch[/mumble] [Report message to a moderator]
