But once the car gains forward momentum the air will flow through the radiator and cool the car to the point where the thermos can switch off, so the high speed flow of the thermos isnt all that important.


Exactly as mine is setup to do. I run a pair of twin-thermos from (of all things) a 1994 EF 6-cylinder Falcon - an almost perfect fit for the Cressida's (stock) radiator...pics of the assembly on the web-site.

On at 90, off at 85.
