yup, three options.
the thrust bearing (the one that pushes onto the fingers of the pressure plate)
spigot bearing (in the end of the crank, stabilises the input shaft of the gearbox at the engine end of it)
gearbox input bearing.
since it goes away when you push in the clutch, i would guess it is option number 1. i have the same thing happening atm, but it goes away when it's warm... thrust bearings are pretty hufty little buggers, but eventually wear and make noise. when it starts going CRUNCH CRUNCH it's probably about to die, but they last a very long time (kinda like axle bearings) and take a long time to die too.
one interesting thing (at least for K motor clutches) is that when the bearing starts making nasty noises, it's also time to change the clutch friction and pressure plate.
if it's only squeaking with the clutch out, don't worry yet. if it gets really noisey, and makes worse noise when you puch in the clutch, you gotta change it...
be happy it's just squeaking (it's just letting you know it's there  )
