Juzzo,
All reading and reports on the Y series crank upgrades advise against doing it as it is a slow reving dog of a hybrid thats not only a PITA to build but will most likely thro a rod with any sort of RPM. I was going to do it myself but decided against it after looking into it.
If anyone has actually built one themselves I'd love to know what piston and rod combination was used ???
Hoon,
The blocks and heads are all interchangeable. The Unmarked 88262 head is the only one to cause you any issues. It has the offset combustion chambers and requires special pistons to suit.
As for what to build, depends what you want and what you can get for the right price at the time.
