ok
the only thing i can think of that it may possibly be is the place where I spliced the wires.
I had a closer look at the diagrab, and it splices them after the key switch connector, away from the ignition barrel.
I've spliced them between the ignition barrel and the key switch connector.
all my electronics knowledge tell me that there should be no problem with this (unless that connector is hiding something inside it).
the farking thing should be working! (getting frustrated)
I think it must be the microtechs fault... the turbo timer isn't keeping the ign power going fast enough or something, and the mtech is cutting out.
