what a crap week its been.
i find a bit of body rust under the scuffplate.
and plowed my car into the ground on a muddy driveway. this driveway had crushed tiles as aggregate btw... good bye immaculate $3000 paintjob.
what is a drop tank? sounds like something you find on a jet fighter plane.
got plans to change the tank in the future, then the pump. all this has to be done before engine transplant. this problem is forcing the plan to go ahead sooner than anticipated though...
was thinking of upgrading the pump to one that would support a small turbo engine since they dont come in a half cut. any suggestions or leads to where i could look for prices?
i've seriously contemplated about selling and buying another car but i wont get more than 6k for it. so i might aswell keep it and keep upgrading parts until i get old and cranky
the car in question is a 90 capri. not flash but hey, beats public transport.
i think the pump is under the rear passenger shelf, might be an internal, havent actually seen it yet. i wouldnt know where to look for the drain plug but i'll have a look tomorrow and see if there is.
