just a thought, maybe the shocks are far too hard for the springs?
the springs are meant to keep the car off the ground and stop the wheel moving too far when you hit bumps... the shock is there to control the bouncing around.
if the shock is too hard for the spring, the shock ends up doing the work of the spring and this stresses the shock and shock mounts much more.
to stop axle tramp you could try sticking one or two extra leaves in the packs to stiffen it up a lot. i did thi swith my KE15, put in an extra second and third longest leaves, and removed the tramp and stopped it bottoming out
i have K-mac shocks and atm i have a continuing problem of the shock mounts on the diff cracking and breaking off.... but never the top where the shocks mount!
it's easy enough to stick another leaf in if you have a spare pack and a big hammer . i'd recommend cutting the eyes off the longest leaf and using that, rather than the shorter ones.
