Sun, 27 July 2003 23:51 Well really a 20V is a slightly newer version of the original 4AG - so I can't see any real issues there. If you're buying it unregistered, all you really need to do is: 1. Get a receipt - you'll want it come rego time 2. Make sure the things in good order! (duh...) 3. Always write the minumum possible that you can get away with on the purchase price part of the rego form - get the dude you're buying it to write out a 2nd receipt for a very cheap amount (lowers the stamp duty!) 4. Check with the vehicle securities register (ring vicroads 131171) to make sure it's not pinched or anything! [Report message to a moderator]
