quad cam V8's in the falcon - Hmms - Soarer had it 10 years ago with its 4lt - but only rich guys on lexus .. Now in a FALCON - they can be dicky johnson again - and roar around thinking they are bathurst hero's.

ford is way behind the technology ballgame compared to the jap crap out there atm - and well - to be honest - whats toyota thrown into the " sportscar " ranks of late ? A tated up corolla with a bodykit - and a grandma car ( camry ) with alloys

to me id rather invest in a Xr6 turbo if i was to buy a new sportscar than ANY toyota out on the block atm .. the only toyotas that get even a YAY from me - is the supra or the 205 GT4's from the last 5 years from toyota , the rest are pure and utter boringmobiles for the american " look at me i have a bodykit and no balls " market.

once again - good on ford for doing SOMETHING to inspire interest

Looking at this post, I'd say it represents a good pointer as to why most of us are here! I got asked the question this morning as to why, instead of spending so much money on the Cressida, that I didn't just buy a Commodore or something similar...I explained that my car will (eventually) hammer most Commdores into submission, while still being comfortable to drive, and will last longer to boot...oh, and it's also am bit "individual"... (Had an interesting conversation with a GEN3-powered R8 owner on Saturday...The litany of problems he's had)! *laughs*
