Mon, 28 July 2003 11:39 Like I said before, that car with that engine NEEDS an engineering report to be registered with Vicroads legitimately. It is easy not to do it legitimately as discussed above, and probably wont get you into trouble, but could void all insurance and possibly the third party personal insurance that comes with your rego. And that could spell big trouble. And an engineering report is a hassle in itself to get - Must run stock computer - Needs a noise test - Needs an emissions check - Needs a brake fade test - A bunch of other crap I have not yet discovered So even if it passes everything you are up for at least a few hundred bucks just to perform all the required tests.
