i put a rhino into my RA40 - they seem easy to wire up.
i also use a club lock when car is left away from home during the day,
and when at my g/f's sisters house, there's the bored and aggresive Rotweiler...
i think that's enough redudancy 
... if someone's keen on stealing the car, they probaby will but if you make it difficult and time consuming, you'll deter 99% of theives.
