Mon, 28 July 2003 23:44 I am assuming you have taken the Whitcroft key out of the crank that secures the crank pulley? This potentially will stop the timing pulley from coming off if it is still in place. It looks as though there is still something in the keyway in that photo. The one at 8 o'clock is for the timing sproket, but what is that one at 11 o'clock? If you have, then I suggest you drill and tap 2 holes into the gear. The holes should be opposite each other. Get a thick steel flat and drill 2 holes into it. Buy 2 grade 11 bolts. Screw the bolts into the holes and gradually tighten. This will act as a very specific puller.
