In my opinion I don't think it matters if the car has been boosting or not! The idea of a turbo timer is to allow the oil in the turbo to cool. Now because the exhaust gases go through the turbo its going to get extremely hot no matter if it has been boosting or not! When i get the engine fitted to my car I'll be building a "turbo timer" that will shut the engine off when the turbo cools down to a set temperature! Thats my 10 cents..
