Tue, 29 July 2003 09:05 ok. the enngine is already in and has been registed for a while. the current owner told vicroads that the stock engine (16v) blew up so it was replaced with the newer version (which happens to be the 20v)... i will call vicroads again in the morning and give them all the vin and chassis numbers and make sure the engine swap is deemed to be 100% ok and that the current owner didnt bullshit too much to vicroads.. now for the rwc: what sort of things do they check? i will be helping the owner fix the following, but if there is any more stuff i should look for can u PLZ tel me? * changing "racing seat" back to the stock seat * swpping steering wheel, gear knob and pedals to stock * currently single wiper conversion (changing back 2 wipers) will the exhaust noise be a problem? will the lowering be a problem? thanks heaps for the advice guys once i get this sorted i am DEFINATLEY coming on some cruises now.. i wont get left too far behind now..
