Thats the turbocharger i was leaning towards, the ECCS series 2 RB20 one. But being the stock computer I need to keep it within 14psi max boost pressure.
Given Toyota's tendency for conservative tuning, there really should be no reason to suspect the stock ECU will do a bad job. It'll just be more powerful that the SC12'd thing and allow usage of the last 3000 odd rpm without a flattening powerband.
The RB20 unit definately sounds like the way to go, others have had great success with it. Michael from the 'Articles' section has 161kw @ 12psi from F1MERC (but from what ive read an aspirated series 1 block).
By any chance, would you know how much one should expect to pay for an BallBearing RB20 unit?
