The jets sound framiliar but I would be interested to know if you have the externally adjustable float bowl.

yep i have externally the adjustable float bowl. So, all 18rg's came out with 40mm carbies. How do the 18rgu ones differ?, different jets? or are they the same.

Do ppl jet the carbies up at all?, this 'mechanic' i talked too said i should jet them up (he didn't say what size) to get more torque down low?... although i've lost confidence in him now, sine he was telling me early 18rg's came out with larger carbies. not the 'baby' ones in his words.

as far as fuel is concerned. I have recently learned that there is some high octane fuel coming to tassie, its just not sold at the servo. The local Performance Automobiles guys & customers get access to it. Im thinking someone must know a way of getting this.
