Mon, 04 August 2003 09:28 you can only ask most folk ive ever spoken too are happy to do it - no harm to them. i got one guy to give me two recipts once - one high and one low - the high one so i could sell the car again later, and say - 'well this is what i bought it for bud' ... hehehe more importantly, hell also need to fill out the disposal notice (on the back of the cars rego papers) with the low amount... the rta will simply look at the disposal notice when you go registering the car, and they use that number to calculate the stamp duty...
