How do you propose to change the filter every 5000 km, but oil only every 20k kms? Won't the oil be lost if the filter is removed? In which case you might as well change the oil, and not leave particles/sediment at the bottom of the engine? Just a thought ... (Dedicated Mobil 1 user, every 5000 kms for 4AGE) [Report message to a moderator]
