You only have to hook into the internal light circuit in one place, the alarm will receive a current change when either one of the pins is triggered by the doors opening.
My current sensing also runs from the internal light circuit (or cig lighter) because it has constant power even with ignition off, if there is a change in current the alarm senses it and starts screeching.
