I've just fininshed 7AGE, mircotech MTX-8 ECU and has currently clocked up 2000km's.... process to use the GZE is the same, but the 7AFE rods I would chuck and get some aftermarket ones as they won't last too long! Pistons from the GZE won't fit straight on the 7A rods, a small mod is needed, and there are two way you can go there. You'll need to run the 4AGE/ZE waterpump, and pulley's, alternator, definately use the GZE oil pump, it's heaps bigger. The Lower timing gear on the Crank has to be the 4AGE/ZE item, Porsche 944 timing belt fit's perfectly, I chose veriner cam gear's as the timimg for the 4A cams are a bit out when running them on the 1.8L, but it still runs without them. Power is currently down (55Kw@wheels) as the engine was way too tight and thrashing it on a dyno would cause too much harm, and it's currently running rich until it's worn in a bit. Another tune and head re-tensioning is now due, So this run would be better indication.
