TA22-3SGTE Regular Location: MACKAY Registered: May 2002	Re: DESPERATE: thermostat for 4agze in ae86 Sun, 10 August 2003 11:04 EVOSTi You will need to run a bypass hose for this system to work , a hose from the head outlet to the thermostat housing , The thermostat bulb must face the motor and the bypass hose must come from the water outlet in the head and flow to the thermostat housing on the motor side so as the water flow passes the thermostat bulb to open it when the water temp rises to the opening temp , This bypass circulates water through the motor while the thermostat is shut and when this water gets hot enough it will open the thermostat and water from the radiator will start to circulate through the motor , The thermostat will then regulate the amount of water flow to maintain a constant temp .
