Hah, that's ok 
I had an 18RG-U in my old RT-132 Corona and I have another one in my 77 RA28 and they BOTH LEAKED OIL at that bloody timing adjustor.
RA28CHICK - It wouldnt surprise me if the Tensioner is buggered. I sat down for 20 mins and tried to take the Timing Case off the spare 18RG-U in the shed to see what was involved and ended up giving up (couldnt take the big a$$ bolt off the pulley).
Methinks that I might as well do the whole kit and kaboodle, rip the front off the RA28 and replace the whole timing gear/tensioner/etc.. I dont know how many K's the engine has done anyhoo... best to be safe.
18RG's are an interference engine yes?
