agreed. silvias are prolly a better choice. They are definitely cheaper, and in stock form, have a better suspension setup than a stock hachi.

AE86s are not easy to drive and drift. People seem to think that they are, but they are not. It's a car that you cannot take short cuts in. It's a car that teaches the driver *proper* advanced driving techniques. These techniques are transferrable to most sports cars thereafter.
