I've done the same conversion and just sat the engine upright. There are NO oil drainage problems but you do need to enlarge the sump capacity. Seeing you have to mod the sump anyway it's no problem. If you do run a lean what are you going to do for a bellhousing???? Leaning the engine leans the gearbox, makes using the shifter a bit tricky [Report message to a moderator]
