This is all well and good around 14psi and under but over that the shaft speed and heat can cause the ceramic wheel to shatter or simply come apart off the shaft.. The vg30 turbo is pretty big and would be good on a 1.8L.. I have a friend with one on his 2L Rb20det motor and it has loads of top end power.. If you want response go for a t28 as mentioned.. These are steel wheeled and would go good on a 1.8L also.. [Report message to a moderator]
