Both will be about just as hard to fit, I had to get a custom manifold made up and if you're going to do this go for the t28 first up - you can always get it high-flowed or change the wheels if you find the top-end lacking. The only easy fit or replacement where you can use the existing manifold (that I know of) is the toyota ct26 which just requires some holes being re-drilled or an adaptor plate made up. These will perform similarly to the vg30 (they were also used on a 3ltr engine) but may spool up slower however they are steel-wheeled and a fair bit tougher with a higher boost threshold. I'm using it in an ra28 and the lack of low down boost gives you the shits sometimes getting off the line. Chris. [Report message to a moderator]
