Get them tuned properly and they will perform just as well and you know,.....They will even sound the same as webbers. If you were using them on a race track you might see a little better throttle control, but that has more to do with the fact that when people pay top dollar for webbers they don't skimp on the linkeages. I had an 18RG RA28 running solex's and a mate of mine had an 18RG RA23 with webbers. Both pretty much standard. My car was heavier but pulled harder. Why?? because my car was tuned well and hadn't had some half arsed webber conversion done. Spend your money on a decent tune up. [Report message to a moderator]
