I THOUGHT I'D FINALLY POST SOME HISTORY AND PICS OF MY CAR, AS IT IS NEARLY BACK ON THE ROAD AGAIN AFTER 8 MONTHS OF TIME OFF. I DONT HAVE MANY DECENT PHOTOS SO HERE GOES, IL JUST TRY MAKE DO..

This was the car how i bought her almost 2 years ago...
DEAD STOCK. Shocked 18rc 5 speed, okay interior.. booya Cool
http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/941e757e/bc/ra28+Photos/ra28+-+front+right.jpg?bc7XMQ_Asyo541VU

Then after slight front detailing & restoratrion,
http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/941e757e/bc/ra28+Photos/ra28+interior.jpg?bc_XMQ_ADfeToXog
few other things..
eg notice freshly painted red & black seat metal side frame..

I loved it, and was absolutely happy with my first car, glad that i'd made the choice to get a celica ra28.
The specs at the time of these photos:
18Rc, W50, 1&1/2" lowered Kings springs and KYB red shocks.
13"'s with 205 tyres.. thats about it.. 6x9's hehe. I also put extractors on the 18R to free her up a little. took out the air filter overy now and again.. hehe massive gains in performance Mad

THEN i found one of these motors : http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/941e757e/bc/18R-geu+pics/18Rgeu+showroom.jpg?bc9yMQ_AuWf.FK_1 ....
Mine (Juzzo's old motor) looked more like this:
http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/941e757e/bc/18R-geu+pics/closeup+mine+before+shipping.jpg?bcNqMQ_A71f32.Bs
18R-GEU 1968cc DOHC 4-cyl imported
factory EFI gear
dead clutch and few injectors, but all wiring complete, bloody confusing, but it was all there.

So one day this happened:

http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/941e757e/bc/RA28+PROJECTwincam/stripped+bay.jpg?bcypMQ_AMVeVpNhh
(Oh and by now the car had some new rims as u can see, courtesy of a fellow toymodder and a f*cked bluebird trx.. And i bought new Goodyear Eagle Ventura low pro tyres, which were a significant improvement over the retreads)

Engine bay primered.

This is the motor before being dropped in, minus shiny matching oil cap..
