INteresting reading that, Cheers
I was led to beleive by someone on a different forum, That the stock valves in 18RG heads, were the biggest you could go for? Is that true or can i go for Bigger valves?
Im still weighing up wether i would be better off waiting and doing an entire ground up rebuiild, Seems stupid to just do one half and leave the bottom end all stock......
Has anyone here got a 60thou overbore with wild head work yadda yadda??? What is a rwkw reading i could go for?? bearing in mind it will be carby'd, 60 thou, Still going the port and polish, maybe bigger valves if i can, Lumpier cams - might ave for billets.......And i guess a carby upgrade to webers or the like
Cheers for any help
Ben
PS: in case you hadnt yet noticed, im still kinda new to these engines, I owned a gemini for ages and didnt think id ever sell it, So i knew nothing about toyota engines, or any other engine for that matter
PPS: alan, My stock 18rg is only putting out just over 63rwkw, i was told it put out 64-65 on the dyno
