I agree 100% with the conversion suggestions placed before you.
Myself i am in the process of such a conversion in my AE71 (just beginning) and it is proving rather simple! Parts aint to hard to come by and its mostly bolt in with a little fabrication work.
To do the conversion using the 100kW 4A-GE as found in AE92 SX an GTi you will need:
# intake manifold "cut and shut" to put the throttle on the other end
# 4a-ge rwd water pump/pipes. Alternatively you can weld up some new stuff
# AE71 crossmember
# T50 gearbox and g'box x-member as found in an AE71/AE86 corolla
# NOT SURE if the KE70 has a different diff, but if so you need the AE71/AE86 rear axle and diff
# new AE71 engine mounts
# AE71 clutch hydraulics - not sure if the KE70 uses cable or hydraulic clutch?
Either way, when using a 4A type motor all the bits you need are easily found on an AE71 or AE86.
Another option, is using the 4age "silvertop" 20valve motor. This are also FWD, but can also be converted to RWD with a little more effort. Also relatively cheap these days.
