There is bloody great portable hydralic bearing puller called the "Kingtool". My Dad got one from EPS Gasweld or one of those type tool shops (not Repco!).
It consists of a hydraulic jack "bolt" that is threaded and you can attach various arms or a bearing puller to it. Another attachment fits onto the centre of the bolt that allows you to centre in on the shaft of your steering box for example, attach attach the arms arounf the pitman arm, wind up the hydraulic centre section and allow the 10 tonne of pressure generated to do the work for you! This thing is so useful for steering wheel removal, all suspesion parts etc and save you damaging things trying to hit them off with a hammer. More useful than a conventional type puller. I LOVE it!
