Classique71 Forums Junkie Location: Colac, Victoria Registered: May 2002	Re: The cost of a scratch Thu, 21 August 2003 10:25 if it was a metallic coloured car - then yes - its gunna cost more - they have to blend the metallics in to make iot look right Our falcon ( silver metallic )) was sent back 3 times to a grand cost of 1500 dollars for a minor dent - because the paint wasnt done correctly .. they had to remove EVERYTHING off the back of the car - paint the boot , bumper , quarter panels - just to make it match Learn your lesson - be careful in carparks - and dont be a prude and leave the scene!
