It was not to hard, and my brother and myself managed everything except the cross-member mounts, which my uncle cut and re-angled. He is a welder which is handy.
The gearbox is NO problem, the engine sits a long way back (good for handling), and has clearance all round to replace pipes and hoses without taking the engine out. The heater hose out the back end was the only bit that required much thought. I used Sprinter engine mounts too.
Pulley, front mount intercooler, 2.5 inch exhaust = ~200HP.
SC 14, big cams, cam gears, head work = ~240HP
All this with the factory ECU. Easy way to save money.
A new BMW M3 has around 230HP per ton, a base model 911 has 240HP per ton.... TA22 weighs ~950 kg.....
That's my 2 cents worth.

Where did u get that figure for a TA22? My TA22 GT model is 1020Kg not 950kg..
